We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Cokie Roberts today at the age of 75. She was an extraordinary woman, a renowned ABC News journalist, and political commentator. She was a long time advocate of women in the military. It was her mother, Representative Lindy Boggs, who advocated for the Hello Girls, the first women soldiers of WWI, to be recognized for their military service and to receive veterans benefits.Thank you for your contribution and participation with the Army Women’s Foundation.
