Eligibility
Hall of Fame:
- A woman Soldier whose service reflects extraordinary contributions, dedication, valor, and patriotism, and has had a direct and exceptional impact on the Army and our nation, both while serving in the Army and post-service.
Champions Award:
- Any individual who has made exceptional contributions to Army Women or Women Veterans. Military service is not required.
Criteria
Hall of Fame:
- Honorable service in the Army that reflects extraordinary contributions, dedication, valor, and patriotism, and has had a direct and exceptional impact on the Army and our nation.
- Demonstrated commitment to honoring the service and sacrifice of Army women.
- Service as a role model or mentor demonstrating dedication to the advancement and welfare of Army service members.
- Nominees must be retired or honorably separated from active service for a minimum of 2 years from the month of induction, which is in March of each calendar year.
Champions Award:
- Extraordinary service or contributions to Army Women or Women Veterans.
- Commitment to honoring the service and sacrifice of Army Women or Women Veterans.
- Service as a role model or mentor that demonstrates dedication to the advancement and welfare of Army Women and Women Veterans.
Selection Process
- Nominations are presented to the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation and judged by a Committee established by the Foundation President.
- All nominations must be accompanied by a current address, email, and phone number of the individual nominated, or in the case of a posthumous nomination, contact information for the family of the nominated individual.
Awards Presentation
- Awards are presented in March at the annual U.S. Army Women’s Foundation Scholarship Awards and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
