This is not an average picture of female officers. We are the Executive Officers (XO), Directors, and Aide-de-Camps (ADC) of the Chief and Vice Chief of the National Guard Bureau. Every female officer in this picture exudes excellence backed by grit, determination, and a strong work ethic.

For the first time in history,  members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff’s two key personal staff are Korean-American female Colonels. Colonel Lee is an Air Force officer and Director of the Chief Action Group, and Colonel Hy J. Cho (Jeana) is an Army officer and Executive Officer to the Chief of the National Guard Bureau (CNGB).

We are the United States Army. We are the United States Air Force. And We are the Guard.
