The US Army Women’s Foundation is pleased to announce the 2021 Trident University International Scholarship will be awarded to Staff Sergeant Beatriz Berry, U.S. Army, Retired. SSG Beatriz Berry will receive a full-ride scholarship to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Homeland Security at Trident University International.
SSG Beatriz Berry, U.S. Army Retired, served in the U.S. Army for nearly 15 years as a Combat Medic and Licensed Practical Nurse. She was medically retired from the U.S. Army in April 2013. During her service, she served in several overseas tours to include Bosnia and a 12-month tour with the 228th Combat Support Hospital in Mosul, Iraq. She excelled in her duties as a respected leader, non-commissioned officer, Combat Medic, and Licensed Practical Nurse.
In response to her selection, SSG Beatriz Berry wrote,

Thank you for your generous gift, which will allow me to complete my degree in Homeland Security. This scholarship has strongly impacted my college experience by not worrying about finances and concentrating on my education.
