Hundreds of guests flooded into the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation – ILW Hosted, AUSA Leader forum to learn about the Hello Girls: the First Female Soldiers of WWI and to hear American journalist and author Ms. Cokie Roberts, give her keynote remarks.  The program took place at the AUSA Annual Meeting on Monday, 8 October, 1:00-3:00 in Room 202B.  The keynote presentation was followed by the screening of the Hello Girls documentary and panel discussion facilitated by Dr. Francoise Bonnell, Director of the U.S. Army Women’s Museum.  Registration was at this link www.ausameetings.org/2018annualmeeting.  For event flyer click here.

Cokie Robert’s mother, Congresswoman Lindy Boggs, championed getting the Hello Girls recognized as veterans in 1977.
