Beth Spitzley has been with the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation since 2015. She served initially as an Administrative Assistant and, in 2018, was promoted to the Foundation’s Director of Administration. Her duties are to manage all aspects of administration and operations for the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation, direct staff, guide operating methods, disburse funds, monitor the budget, improve information systems, oversee human resource requirements, update Board Directors, analyze financial data, and develop operational procedures and policies. Before her work at the Foundation, Beth worked at Capital One Financial Corporation and at Dillard Paper Company, now International Paper.
Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications and Sociology from the University of Richmond. Beth is a military spouse married to Ken Spitzley, who retired after 23 years of service in the U.S. Navy Reserves. They have three grown children.
