On Monday, October 12, 2026, the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation hosted our AUSA Leadership Forum, “In This Together” at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The two-hour forum was moderated by COL (Ret) Kathy Turner and gathered five leaders – CMSAF (Ret) Joanne S. Bass, SSG (Ret) Herm Breuer, Ms. Sue Fulton, CPT (Ret) Niki Marin, and CW5 (Ret) Phyllis Wilson – and let them speak to a shared truth: Army women face challenges during and after service, but they do not need to solve them alone. The program also opened with a live storytelling demonstration by Maureen Elias.
