Now Accepting Nominations for 2022 US Army Women’s Foundation Hall of Fame

The US Army Women’s Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2022 US Army Women’s Foundation Hall of Fame. The window for submission is open from April 1, 2021, through midnight, August 13, 2021.

The Army Women’s Foundation Hall of Fame Awards are presented in two categories 1) Hall of Fame and 2) Special Recognition of Champions Awards.

1) Hall of Fame: 

ELIGIBILITY:
–  An Army/Armed Forces servicewoman whose service or contributions have had a direct and exceptional impact on Army/Armed Forces servicewomen.

CRITERIA:
– Noteworthy service or contributions to Army/Armed Forces servicewomen.
– Commitment to honoring the service and sacrifice of Army/Armed Forces women.
– Service as a role model or mentor that demonstrates dedication to the advancement and welfare of Army/Armed Forces women.

– Individuals may not nominate themselves.

2) Special Recognition of Champions Award Hall of Fame: 

ELIGIBILITY:
Any individual who has had a direct and exceptional impact on Army servicewomen.  Service in the Army/Armed Forces is not required for such recognition.

CRITERIA:
– Noteworthy service or contributions to Army/Armed Forces servicewomen.
– Commitment to honoring the service and sacrifice of Army/Armed Forces servicewomen.
– Service as a role model or mentor that demonstrates dedication to the advancement and welfare of Army/Armed Forces servicewomen.

– Individuals may not nominate themselves.

SELECTION PROCESS:
– Deadline for nomination submissions is midnight August 13, 2021.
– Nominations are presented to the US Army Women’s Foundation and judged by a committee established by the Foundation President.

IMPORTANT: Nominations are required no later than August 13, 2021, for consideration. If a nomination is submitted without sufficient details and documentation, the nomination will be held in an inactive file and not presented to the selection board.  The nominator will be notified in writing if corrective action needs to be taken. If corrective action is not taken by the designated deadline (August 13, 2021), the nomination will be returned to the nominator and will not be considered.

Induction Ceremony

Awards will be presented in March 2022 at the annual US Army Women’s Foundation Scholarship Awards and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in the National Capital Region.
