The Army Women’s Foundation recognizes the efforts of individuals who work to preserve and support the service of Army women, to ensure they have opportunities that are determined by ability, and to create work environments for Army personnel that are free of assault and harassment. By championing these and other issues that women soldiers face, these extraordinary individuals help to build a stronger nation.

The Champions Award is presented to any individual who has made exceptional contributions to women in the Army or the Armed Forces.  Service in the Army is not required for such recognition.
