The Foundation’s Legacy Society provides the opportunity for U.S. Army Women's Foundation supporters to make a “planned gift.” No gift is too small. Planned giving allows you to make a bequest or gift to the Foundation as part of estate planning. This bequest or gift is made now, but it does not impact your current assets. The “planned gift” actually comes to the Foundation at some time in the future. Although there is no immediate cash benefit to the Foundation, creating these gifts has tremendous impact on planning and goals for the future and greatly enhances the Foundation’s ability to carry out its mission. Naming the Foundation in your will is one form of planned giving. There are many others, for example you can designate the Foundation as the beneficiary of an insurance policy. In both examples, no assets are transferred to the Foundation until after death. It’s easy to enroll. Just tell us that you are including the Foundation in your will. We can assist you if you need help in determining what you would like to include or how to do it. Please ask if you are interested in information on other planned gifts. The benefits to you can be significant. You can designate how you would like the Foundation to use your bequest. You can work with us now to leave a lasting legacy -- one that is important to you! A specially designed Legacy Society pin will be sent to you to wear to show your commitment to Army women past, present and future.
